About Us

An aesthetics training company created by aesthetics professionals for aesthetics professionals.

Our Story

In order to offer MINT clients the best training and consulting services, we needed to first be successful ourselves in owning and operating a medical aesthetic clinic. Our unique setup of conjoined companies—AesthetiCare Medspa & MINT Aesthetics—gives us a critical insight into what processes and procedures work, how our protocols affect the team, and anything that doesn’t work well. From the beginning, our story has been intentionally created to provide the most effective training to our clients. 

1996
Matt's entry into Medical Aesthetics

Matt begins his aesthetics career an independent laser equipment sales rep. 

2000
Kathy's entry into the Aesthetics Industry

Kathy starts working for a French cosmeceutical company.

2001
AesthetiCare MedSpa opens

Matt opens the first location with only 1,000 square feet and 2 employees.

2002
Kathy moves into Medical-Focused Aesthetics

Kathy completes advanced laser certification to pursue device sales and training.

2003
AesthetiCare moves to 74th Street, Merriam

Matt and the AesthetiCare team move to a new location, expanding to 2,200 square feet and 5 employees.

2004
Kathy begins training clinics

Kathy becomes a sales rep and laser trainer for a device distributor, while also treating clients at a clinic.

2007
AesthetiCare moves to College Ave, Leawood

The medspa moves to a new location with 4,000 square feet and 11 employees

2008
Kathy launches Laser Rental Company

Traveling across the country, Kathy helps clinics get trained and onboarded with laser devices.

2009
Kathy begins training clinics on Medical Aesthetics

Through a partnership, Kathy becomes the first group to create Laser Safety Training Curriculum & Certification in Arizona.

2012
AesthetiCare moves to Ash Street, Leawood

The new location expands operations to 6,000 square feet and 15 employees.

2014
Matt & Kathy join forces

In both their personal and professional lives, they join together to create their business as it stands today. 

2023
MINT & AesthetiCare move to Ward Parkway, Kansas City

Expanding rapidly, the companies cross over into Missouri to a new 20,000 sq. ft. facility with 50 employees bringing AC Wellness into the fold.
